I know people who play many different "not so mainstream" video games around.
Games such as Minecraft, the 2 billion dollars game that looks like it came out from the 90s.
Well I kinda have a guilty pleasure like that myself. I love playing Mount and Blade Warband.
A game that really isn't as cool and awesome as others. Basically it's such a sandbox game that I love it. I also heard that recently it's a trend on steam too.
What I love is that you get to create a character, gather an army and just march around the world killing. That's all. there are some useless quests too, but I never bothered doing them.
What's amazing about it is that you can literally use any cheat you like (cause if you don't it's hard as shit) to gain whatever it is you like. Oh yes. Mount & blade Warband is truly a paradise for my Sundays. I just go outside with my huge army and kill. Or even with my elite team!
Which brings me to the cheats issue. You can use cheats pretty easily and there are 2 ways. It's what I call "soft" cheat and "hard" cheat. "Soft" cheat is when you only push buttons inside the game and "hard" cheat is when you play with the settings. So Anyway. Here are all the cheats. Let's begin with the soft skills first.
Cheat List for Mount and blade Warband:
Use the following cheat codes
First you will have to enable cheats in the Config menu like this.
In the inventory it gives you 1,000 Gold - CTRL + X
Ctrl+Alt+F4 - Knock out enemy troops (it's awesome when it comes to huge battles)
Full Health - CTRL + H
Knock out all of your troops - CTRL + SHIFT + F6
Knock out one of your troops - CTRL + F6
1,000 Experience Point Bonus - CTRL + X
Add 10 points to weapon proficiency - CTRL + W
AI Fights For You - CTRL + F5
Kill Enemy Automatically - CTRL + F4
See All Parties - CTRL + T
Slow Motion - CTRL + F9
Teleport Party to Cursor - CTRL + Left Click
Hurt Yourself - CTRL + F3
Hurt Allies - CTRL + F3
CTRL+H - Full Health
CTRL+Shift+H - Full Horse Health
CTRL+F11 - Stop time
CTRL+Space - Fast Forward
Now for the "hard" cheats.
Inside the game press C and go to your character menu.
Click on the "statistics". From there you click on "export character". That will export your character in a notepad. Just remember. In order for this to work, when you are done tweaking the stats you will have to re-import your character back to the game. (kinda like the Matrix!)
There you will find your character sheet. You might as well back it up before you start.
Then you can change anything you like and as you like in there. I usually go for 10 with the skills (it's the max) and leave the rest, to make it more challenging but you can do whatever you like.

That is because I vowed not to ever play World of Warcraft ever again in my life. It so happens though, that I talked with someone that hasn't seen the very best classics of wow videos on YouTube.
That is a shame. That is the reason I will be sharing these videos here. Time may pass but the impressive times were back then.
Back then, if you wanted to be a pro in World of Warcraft you had no life whatsoever. I've been through that, which is why I no longer want to be doing this.
Nonetheless those videos show impressive skills. Even though the players were technically undead.
The first two videos are about two PVP legends back in the Vanilla days. When being a Grand Marshall and a High Warlord was harder than becoming a U.S. president (minor exaggeration).

Maydie
Maydie is probably the best WoW video I’ve seen in my life. Amazing music and montage combining a great player with awesome skill.
Even though I was always Horde I have to admit that Maydie was perhaps the best Vanilla PVPer ever. Only one could match Maydie in PVP skills and that’s video number two. It’s number two because Maydie also produced a kind of art. Watch it and you will understand.

What can someone say about pat? The ultimate Tauren Beef slaying everyone around the Alliance.
Perhaps the most impressive character in terms of looks. High Warlord armor combined with Tauren is rather impressive.
Nyhm
Nothing special about Nyhm as a player. He did make a lot of funny machinima videos though filled with satire about what was wrong back then in World of Warcraft.

Well it truly isn't. It's a game created by Coffee stain studios.
They are not so famous to be honest. They have created quite a few games. But this game changed the way we see this studio forever as it may seem.
So I guess we should go on and review the game.
First off. You get to play a goat. In an open world area.
Well not very open to be completely honest. It's as big as a big square. You can literally do anything you like.
Everything around you are completely destructible.
Destructible to say the least to be honest. Even if you hit a sign it will blow off out of proportion. Like a Michael Bay movie. Keep that in mind for the game.
You also need to get hit by a truck. You will love it.
Now about the graphics. Those crazy people at Coffee Stain Studios used the Unreal Engine!
This makes the graphics as you may have imagined ridiculously good for a game that has you simulate a goat. The physics, even if they are a bit exaggerated are pretty damn good too. So you will really love the game graphics wise.
But let us be honest. There are two reasons you are going to be playing this game. The first reason is that you are curious as fuck about what it is. The second one is that at the moment your curiosity will stop because you will already be playing the game is to see what you can do.
So let us move the the quest section.
I would more likely be calling it achievement to be honest. There are 27. Really easy to deal with to be honest. Actually to be completely honest. If you just press random buttons for an hour you will be most likely have completed around 20 of them. Some require a bit more stuff to be done, but they are easy.
What is funny about them is that they most likely have a reference in them or they are ridiculously funny. I would suggest to just go on ahead and try to do weird stuff. If you do something really weird you will probably complete an achievement.
So how about me? It took me about 30 minutes to complete the game. I wasn't expecting much more to be honest. But I loved it. It's really fun to blow off some steam for like 5 or 10 minutes every day. It's kinda like Postal. You only play to destroy, not actually complete the game.
Having that in mind, I have one thing to say. I'm proud to be a PC owner since it's a PC exclusive. So you can suck it console lovers. I assume that now that the game is famous they might try it out for consoles. I guess we shall see.
Anyway. Loved the game. You need to play it. You will have a lot of fun. But have it in mind. That is all. Lets be honest though. Could you possibly be expecting something more out of a game called Goat Simulator?
Why am I saying that? what is the point I want to prove?
Why do I believe that Facebook is the Wolf of Wall Street?
Well for me it's pretty easy to say this.
But in order to be able to better explain it let me just go on a brief summary on the Wolf of Wall Street.
It's about a very young stockbroker whom makes millions (tons of millions) by selling stocks. Meanwhile he is living a crazy life full of drugs and an incredible amount of women.
For me that is the dream and I completely respect it. But there is one thing we need to consider. Jordan Belfort, the Wolf of Wall Street was selling Penny Stocks.
Penny Stocks are so worthless stocks that are not even traded in the stock market. Is what we would call today, a startup business. Belfort would convince people to buy a huge amount of penny stocks while on the other hand he was also getting a share of the stocks. When the stocks reached top, he would sell for top profit, while destroying the business and the poor people who sold the stocks to.
So what is the deal with me? You can have as many drugs as you like and fuck as many women as you want. But you can't destroy so many people's lives on the way.

What does that have to do with Facebook right?
Ok now that I have set up a common ground for us to understand let me go ahead and say that the penny stock market is the startups and Kickstarter and Facebook is on the same time the Wolf of Wall Street and the Stock Market.
What has gotten me really angry is obviously the Oculus rift. It got me angry for a number of reasons.
First of. Every time little Mark wants something he is just gonna rub a few billions up your face and boom you sell?
I mean lets not be ridiculous, If I was given two billion I would sell in an instant. But the thing is that Oculus was on Kickstarter.
Supposedly this platform will fund your project bottom up. From the people. People gave money to Oculus because they believed that something special could come up with that. And there he goes. Sold it. To Facebook for 2 billion.
It's not only the people. It's what is coming with it. Developers payed money for Oculus creation pack. And now that is owned by Facebook they really don't like that turnout.
Which brings me to the point I want to make.
Facebook goes around and buys anything. I mean literally anything they like. Which is common practice to keep a business of that size to grow. It was fine when it was done with platforms that were relevant such as instagram.
But how about stuff that might not be such relevant? If they don't like Oculus they can simply de-fund it in an instant.
What I am trying to say is that Facebook is doing reckless moves that hurt people. They force people to embrace Facebook in a way. You couldn't do anything else if it's all around you.
Is it legal? So far as it looks like yes. Is it ethical?
So Facebook announced it is buying the Oculus Rift for 2 billion dollars!
Personally it's not that I hate Facebook or anything.
I completely understand the need for a business to expand and find new ways to improve their profits and make their customers happy.
Truth is that the momentSonyannounced their own virtual reality system people freaked out.
So as soon it got competitive Facebook had to go and buy the Oculus rift.
As a counterattack. I get the whole "I have a vision" thing but I just think it is an act of fear. Facebook got afraid that Sony might lead the game in virtual reality and since they don't have anything ready right now they went and bought the next big thing. Oculus rift.
I just think that Oculus was a bottom up suggestion to real hardcore players.
This why I am sad. I mean there were so many indie developers ready to support this magnificent experiment and suddenly it has to become corporate once again.
Let me take that back. Perhaps Facebook is on the race too now. Do not be afraid. Just ask for something with quality and just accept anything is being served to us.
I wasn't intending to talk about the next gen until it could actually be called "next gen"
I am referring of course to the promise, Sony and Microsoft gave to the people. Well, to the Nerds really. But I believe we are considered people too.
That there is an actual reason for those consoles coming out. The reason allegedly is that they are going to rock our damn world. Not only with graphics but also physics.
The reason I am writing those words are the teaser video Ubisoft released for the new Assassins' Creed: Unity. Which is about the French revolution too.
OK one thing. They seem to give a try in to the story. Which is something. Because recently the new backstory was deeply bad. They also locate it in Paris which is also where Abstergo is. So it seems promising.
So how about the graphics?
They are terrific. Simply amazing. It really made me go crazy and melted my face away.
Which would amaze a 15 year old.
Last time I checked though, I think that Ubisoft is aiming at my age. Except my age by the way I also thought they were aiming at something else that defines me.
So honestly thank you Ubisoft for the amazing graphics.
But you need to know that you raised the bar way too high right now. Which means that the story needs to be amazing.
The gameplay needs to rock my god damn world.
Don't get me wrong. I believe that Assassins Creed: Black Flag raised the bar so high and optimised the gameplay so much that I couldn't be happier.
Just one thing. Please do not focus on the graphics.
Graphics are going to be ridiculously amazing anyway.
So just go ahead and invest on the important stuff. Gameplay and story.
So this is my confession.
I am afraid that the next gen will just be a beauty pageant.
Just the most beautiful graphics will win with no other criteria. I base that on two factors really.
The one is obviously the urge to sell video games really bad and the production cost that is way too high.
Which means that you may sacrifice quality to survive. Not in long term unfortunately.
The other one is that video games have become mainstream.
Us the hardcore few with really high expectations don't get what we ask for because we are few. Which is sad.
Gladly Ubisoft is trying hard. Which is why I actually support Ubisoft.
I even actually Buy their games.
So I guess it remains for us to find out what is going to happen. Until then let us pray to almighty Cthulhu that he will bring doom and destruction to the bad video game developers.
